This Thursday, March 15, 2012, at the Palais Iavoloha of State, HE Mr. Shen Yongxiang, the new Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Madagascar, presented his letters of accreditation appointing him as the Chairman of the Transition.
The People’s Republic of China have expressed their desire to resume cooperation with the Big Island on an economic, social and humanitarian basis. Hundreds of Chinese companies based in Madagascar as well as the establishment of diplomatic relations on 6 November 1972, have always cultivated cultural exchanges and mutually beneficial trades. The priorities of this partnership include renewable energy, hydropower and to supply the population with drinking water.
